If it pulls back I like to fish for it! I love multi species in the fresh (crappie, perch, cats) and love salt fishing (reds, trout, tuna)! Give me a carp and I'd be happy!
Hey Pete. It is really a matter of taste. It will make the rod lighter but not sure it will help your casting distance. If you fish in the cold when guides ice up, micros are not the right guide.
I know what you mean. In those cases I like to go out of my way to fish baits other dudes are not fishing. I also like to go a bit deeper or thicker (thinker into the cover) then everyone else is doing. Finally I like to explore areas that are not getting beat up (above the 95 bridge in DC)!!!!
Wow I think you and I are the only ones that fish it! Honestly most of the time I fish the smaller Road Runners (1/16,1/8) with no trailer (just the hair ones).
As a co angler you have to have 2 sets of eyes. always look at what the pro is doing and casting at and try to do something a bit different. If you can finesse fish it will help a lot!
No spit the transducers. You want the on on the front on the foot of the troll motor. This will let you see things in real time that are directly under the boat!
I LOVE that lake. Im actually going to be there in early Jan. to do some ice fishing. Also I might be back up there in July for a Rapala writers event!
A Basscat Puma FTD again. That the layout of that boat!
Time for only a couple more questions...
